Band of unity.. LOL... anyway.. we when up... to the Summit Hall... and here's the stage.. xD
YAY!!! so yea... hmm...
Well... i thought of again split this post into 2... but i guess... xyh laa...
ok...
DAY 1
Biz Stone...
Co-Founder of Twitter
Wow!! the first really set the tone for the SUMMIT... he was just AWESOME!! xD
Highlights???
Opportunity can be manufacture. Biz StoneThis is one of my favorite quote... cause people always believe that opportunity comes to you and you have to grab it... He said otherwise... that you can create your own opportunity... and he proves by making twitter... xD Another quote would be..
Entrepreneurism becoming mortal. Biz StoneBy the meaning of mortal, he classified that in order to succeed... you have to FAIL... and he has.... xD
Though one more quote i would put it in.. (he is full of quote ok.. =) ) this one is regarding on how you work environment should be... xD
A rich and diverse. Biz StoneThis one he tells that, in any organization.. you have to go to work passionately... and its this form of rich and diverse-ness which lead to openness in the organization... where we must share a common vission... xD
So thats about it.. xD Biz Stone..
Dr. Mamphela Aletta Ramphele

Former MD of World Bank
The second speaker of the day... Who is she??? well... she's an activist in her country (South Africa).... and her topic was a very interesting one... (though for some people was sleeping... ) haih...
Ethic & Morality As Youth in A Changing Culture...
Where she speaks on the tension between Ethic and Morality... Ethic vs Morality...
In her definition...
Ethics... is our frame of reference, decision... whats right or wrong...
Morality... wisdom... best for the group.. society as a whole... and the decision of the sake of group survival..
though a few of her quote's i like to add..
Never underestimate the power of an individualThis i find it very true... cause you can never imagine how an individual can gather support... and stuff.. thus bring change towards the society.. xD
the second quote i would say... which really make me think twice about the youth is...
Some youth are spoiled... But most youth, are NEGLECTED.After she gave this statement... i begin to realize that "hey... yea laa... today's youth... not that there are spoiled... but they are REALLY NEGLECTED"... i mean... as an example... they want their voices to be heard... but afraid... because they are neglected in such they are not train to voice out... etc... and this is what she says and resonated thru my mind... xD
next..
Narain Karthikeyan
Formula 1 Driver... and future for 1Malaysia F1 Team??
Well... with him... its was more of a forum.. not a presentation per say... but... for his age... and being the FIRST indian F1 driver... it was WOW!!!
He talked about that Passion that drives him.. to where he is right now... though not the best among the best in F1... but to make it in F1 it just show what he is capable off...x D and i'm proud to be Asian... xD
(sorry... not enough things to talk about him)
NEXT!!!
Sir Bob Geldof
Founder of Live Aid and Life 8
He was just SO INSPIRATIONAL.. his introduction video... made me touch of how he change the world... and to have him here... in KL... was just.... :')
This time... let the quotes... tell it all...
All progress comes from unreasonable man.
What he says it true... people who are unreasonable... they want the world to change for them... and for those who is reasonable... they can adapt.... so yeah... he is unreasonable to some extend... where he don't want poverty in Africa... etc... thats why he persist and voices for CHANGE!!!
Thinking independently, together.
What he meant by this... is simple... today... its a small world... and the issues we are facing today... are not national nor regional... but GLOBAL... thats why we have to set aside our diffrences and co-operate to live a better world...
And thats what he has to say!!! xD
DAY 2
Gary Kasparov
World No1 Chess Player xD
With him... its all about strategy... xD
So most of his speech was about how chess can play its part in real life...
here's some few quotes...
Over optimistic, over conservative can hold you back.
What he means that if we are too much in anything... its never good... over confident.. no good... over "shy"... no good.. so yeah.. xD thats what he meant...
When there is no opportunity.. thats when strategic thinking comes in.
This quote.. when he gave this statement.. i could further relate to Biz Stone quote on opportunity can be manufacture. Because.. when you have no opportunity.. this is when your creative.. strategic.. thinking comes in.. to create opportunity... to manufacture it... thats what i understand from it.. xD
So yup... next... hohohoho... from via Sat... Trump tower..
Donald Trump
Chairman of the Trump Organization
He is someone who tells that... in order to succeed you must...
1) Love what your doing..
2) Take and being a good person
3) Don't fully trust people around you if they don't REALLY respect you.
4) Don't have any element of quitting...
5) Stay focus, be disicpline
6) Believe and trust in yourself and instinct
7) Able to handle pressure...
8) Master the subject...
And i asked a question to him... how to handle pressure when your all ALONE... and here is his answer..
Just say... I DON'T CARE... there are other things in the world that is far greater.
And its true... and talking about second chance.. he spoke..
If he cheats, you give him a second chance. He'll repeat it. But if he make his own mistake and admit it, you should give him a second chance.
A true leader.. a master of his own subject... that is him...
next...
Randi Zuckerburg
Marketing Advisor at Facebook
One thing about her, she is very happy-go-lucky kind of person.. One of the few top person in facebook, she tells us how Facebook become a success.
How they overcome competitor like Myspace and Friendster..
How Facebook became more transparent in term of developer's apps... (open source medium..)
How they plan to bring Facebook to the next level... (thru integration of Twitter... etc..)
She also explain that information plays an important role, and its up to the experts to determine weather its up to them on the liability of that particular information (ie H1N1... US election... Iran election... etc)
For the part of the speech... there no really memorable quote.. only for the fact that she gives good insight on how facebook works.. xD
the next person is someone who plays an important role for England in getting the 2012 London's Olympics... and also bid for 2018 World Cup
David Magliano
Director of Commercial and Marketing at England 2018
This guy... really tells us how youth plays an important role in their bid to 2012 Olympics... by saying..
London is the Beacon of Youth
What he meant by this quote is simple... that the root of the Olympics is to inspire the youth to join sports.. and London 2012 bid... forcus on that... which was amazing...
Honeslty i donno what to say much... honestly due to the fact that i'm out of idea's... xD
next was the two representative of the two rising tiger and the dragon... (India and China)... on the fact of its economical growth..
Yashwant Sinha & Long Yong Tu
Ex Minister of Finance Long Yong Tu (China) left, Yashwant Sinha (India) right.
I thought it was suppose to be a forum.... but... they talk... and talk... and talk... like there is no tomorrow... LOL
though the highlight was... that... hey... we are rising... so be wary!! hahaha... i mean... for example
China... Mr Yong spoke that how that the workforce brings alot to their economy.. (since their population is about 1.5 Billion...)
this goes same with India... =S
Sorry guys... honeslty this part was OK la... i really gives an impact for those who understand how these both nation works... (which is useful for me... in terms of debate... thus i have to do more research..)
*note... i will finish this the next time i edit this.... BANYAK gler tau!!! haih... so the remaining speakers i will tell in....
Dato' Seri Tony Fernandes
CEO of AirAsia Group
Who want's a trip to London come here now....
those are the first few words coming out from him... =) the fact that he was one of the few who started AirAsia... he was also funny, very energetic, and above all... very motivational.. xD
