SEACHANGE MOVEMENT - A JOURNEY OF CHANGE..
Its definnitely being a long time since i post a blog, which i admit that one thing, i was lazy to update. Though my FINALS and preparation to it.. So i don't really thing i should blog during that time.
So what is this Youth Engagement Summit 2009 (YES2009)??? Well... before i move on further.. let me explain to all of you guys what is YES2009. xD
Well the purpose for this summit was to gather all the youth from all over ASEAN countries to bring one voice, one purpose. CHANGE. The summit program was talks from iconic leaders from all over the world, so that to inspires youth for CHANGE. And the movement that started all this was SEACHANGE. So it started out around 9 weeks back and their goal was to gather 1000000 youth to join the movement. And among 1Million respondent.. only 500 will be chosen to represent the youth for the summit (though if you don't won it, you can still buy it) So that's about it laa... xD
Anyway, my journey starts around 8weeks ago, when i got an email from Youth Says saying that i should join the movement. Which i did, and fill in the survey, telling
What personal Change i want,
What kind of change i want to see and
What change realised in 5 years time.
So i just fill them, not knowing of whats to come, because i came to the site because i believe that this movement can bring the chance, and i believe it. Regardless whether i win or not, i don't care.
So 3 weeks back, i recieve an email saying that i'm "short-listed" to be one of the winners, so i just fill it up... Knowing that "hey maybe i got a shot" xD
So maybe it was fated that on the 1 November 2009 i got an email saying...
Congratulations!!! You are coming for YES2009!
